WFI Applauds Introduction Of National Right-To-Work Act
Washington, D.C. – Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI) spokesperson Heather Greenaway released the following statement today in response to the introduction of the National Right to Work Act:
“We applaud the introduction of this critical bill to protect worker freedom. We firmly believe that our nation’s workers should have the ability, and the right, to negotiate their own terms of employment with their employer. This legislation protects employees from forced union dues, ensuring America’s workforce has the freedom to choose the representation that works best for them – not union bosses. After decades of falling short, Big Labor’s record of broken promises and extensive failings to represent the interests of their membership are coming to the fore and they have lost the confidence of America’s workers. It’s time to take the levers of power away from union bosses and hand them back to the people. The National Right-to-Work Act does just that – and we look forward to its swift passage in Congress.”
