Union Bosses Had Been Planning Hostess Take Down for Months
While shocking to learn of the demise of Hostess Brands, Inc., caused by an ongoing strike of Bakers Union workers, it should really have been little surprise when it happened. This had been in the works for some time, since … Continue reading

Big Labor’s Vision For The Future Nothing More Than Extension Of Job-Killing Policies
Big Labor feels its grasp on power brokers in the nation’s capital slipping. With dwindling labor participation and diminished influence among the American electorate, union bosses are making a push to secure more power before it is too late.

Wszolek: Micro-Unions Don’t Instill Confidence Or Certainty
Unfortunately though, the White House has decided against standing with workers and small businesses and instead, has sided with labor bosses desperately seeking “payback.” After having invested half a billion dollars in President Obama’s election in 2008, union bosses have demanded gifts in return for their political contributions. And the problem has only grown worse with the November election upon us and labor bosses slated to contribute nearly 500 million dollars more, for a grand total of one billion. Continue reading
Micro-Unions Threaten American Employers
The formation of micro-unions would result in an undue proliferation of units in workplaces, which is a detriment to both employees and employers. It will dramatically increase a business owner’s labor relations costs, and produce unrest and workplace disputes as different unions representing varying employees will seek distinctive pay structures and benefit packages. Micro-Unions Remain Big Problem For America’s Employers

Their vote on this matter will be defining among employers in their states. Continue reading

Obama Plots His Second Term With Big Labor Boss
The Obama Administration and its appointees on the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) have worked overtime to enact new laws and regulations that make it easier to force workers into unions. Whether we’re talking about the Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act, micro-unions, ambush elections, allowing union bosses to access workers’ personal information, or any of the other initiatives undertaken by unelected government bureaucrats in Washington, it’s clear that as far as President Obama is concerned, what Big Labor wants, Big Labor gets. President Obama Attacks Right-To-Work States
President Obama put on a show for one of Big Labor’s most eager audiences and blasted right-to-work laws while at it. Obama ignored economic statistics showing right-to-work states experiencing greater prosperity than their counterparts. Continue reading
