Using Big Labor Cash For A Big Charlotte Convention
Senator Mike Enzi’s (R-WY) S.J. Res. 36 would have stopped the National Labor Relations Board’s “ambush election” rule in its tracks – if 54 Senators didn’t vote against it. But, beyond the muscled grip that Big Labor bosses and their lobbyists have on Congress, it comes as no surprise once you see how much loot the Democratic National Convention Committee and the Obama White House is asking for – all of it from union bosses. Fact Checking The Labor Fact Checker On Ambush Elections
Recently, Senator John Thune published an op-ed on the National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) ambush election rule and efforts in Congress to undo the regulation in advance of it taking effect on April 30th. This week, the U.S. Senate will vote on S.J. Ambush Election Vote: Senators Either Stand With Small Business Owners Or Big Labor Bosses
It is a breathtaking overreach that completely ignores the will of both employees and employers. The NLRB, which is stacked with members who have direct ties to Big Labor, decided last year to completely ignore the will of the majority who submitted 65,000 comments largely in opposition to undoing decades of Board law in favor of ambush elections. Continue reading

WFI Spokesman: “Ambush Elections Hurt Employees & Employers”
The Obama board is made up of union advocates handpicked by the president and labor bosses, and these unelected bureaucrats appear to have little to no regard or concern for making sure employees have the opportunity to make informed decisions about a critical matter affecting their livelihoods. Congress Soon Will Soon Voice Stance On “Ambush” Elections
It is our hope and expectation that both houses of Congress will have the opportunity to vote on the CRA to demonstrate their support for or opposition to this misguided “quickie” election rule. Continue reading

Employers Look To Congress To Balance Labor Scale
At every step of the way, this president has ceded to big labor’s demands and sacrificed the interests of employees and employers as he travels the country extoling the importance of job creation and economic growth. Continue reading
