Micro-Unions Remain Big Problem For America’s Employers
Job creators are badly in need of certainty as they work, which includes relief from the proliferation of these micro-units, which would result in greater unemployment and business closures at the worst possible time.[16] Therefore, the vote to prohibit the use of taxpayer dollars in the formation of micro-unions in private sector workplaces will serve as a real test for members of the Senate Appropriations Committee. Their vote on this matter will be defining among employers in their states. Continue reading
Obama Plots His Second Term With Big Labor Boss
The Obama Administration and its appointees on the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) have worked overtime to enact new laws and regulations that make it easier to force workers into unions. Whether we’re talking about the Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act, micro-unions, ambush elections, allowing union bosses to access workers’ personal information, or any of the other initiatives undertaken by unelected government bureaucrats in Washington, it’s clear that as far as President Obama is concerned, what Big Labor wants, Big Labor gets. Union Boss Salary Hypocrisy
Unfortunately Richard Trumka isn’t the only Big Labor boss with a salary that’s out of control. In fact, his very generous income of $293,750 in 2011 is about average. According to the Labor Department’s total compensation figures, many of the top labor leaders make even more than Trumka: Continue reading

Who Is Richard Trumka Trying to Fool?
The true irony here is that while Trumka extols the virtues of the struggling modern worker, blasting “people [who] can drop in five or six million bucks at the drop of a hat to alter a presidential race,” he’s living it up with his other Big Labor buddies at the Buena Vista Hotel and Spa in Orlando.

NLRB Considering Rule Allowing Jimmy Hoffa To Call & Email Employees
The next handout to union bosses is the personal contact information of workers; their telephone numbers and personal email addresses to be used during organizing campaigns. Imagine, the U.S. Government believes it is entitled to provide Jimmy Hoffa, the general president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, the telephone numbers and email addresses of workers who want little else than to work hard and enjoy time with their families and loved ones at day’s end. Continue reading
